Privacy
What Fullsheet keeps
- Organizers: no account, no email. A book has a name you choose and the skates you enter (title, rink name, time, bill, spots, prices, an optional note). The book’s private link is the key; only a one-way fingerprint (SHA-256) of it is stored.
- Players: a first name or nickname, skater or goalie, jersey colour, in/waitlist/out, the side, and the organizer’s paid tick. Each player’s private spot-card link is stored only as a one-way fingerprint. No email, phone, age, address, photo or payment detail is collected.
- Who can see names: anyone holding the skate’s sign-up link sees the first names on that skate; the organizer sees the paid ticks. Private pages tell search engines not to index them.
- How long: player names are deleted 30 days after the skate (the night’s totals stay in the organizer’s ledger). Books not opened for 400 days are deleted with everything in them. Organizers can delete a skate or a book at any time.
- Abuse limits: to slow down floods, Fullsheet counts sign-ups and organizer changes per address per hour, and new books per address per day, using a salted one-way hash of the address; the counters are deleted after two days.
- Server logs: like any web server, the host keeps access logs of the addresses visited, which include the full private book and spot-card links, for its usual log retention period. Only the server’s administrators can read them; Fullsheet itself stores the links only as fingerprints.
- Cookies: one security cookie that protects forms (it holds a random token, nothing about you). No advertising or tracking cookies, no analytics services. The only outside service any page loads is the banner from adengine.us on the public pages, described under Advertising; it also counts one page view per page as a daily total.
- Email: Fullsheet sends no email and no texts.
Advertising
The home page, the ice calculator, How it works, Pricing and About show one banner ad from AdEngine (adengine.us), the small ad network run by WeldonPC, the company behind this site. For now the ads are for WeldonPC’s own services. Organizer books, sign-up sheets, spot cards, the start form, this page and the terms show no ad, and no name or skate detail is ever sent to it.
To show an ad, your browser loads a script from adengine.us, asks it for one banner, loads the banner image, and reports once that the page was viewed and once that the banner was shown. Like any website, adengine.us receives your IP address and your browser type with those requests. The requests name this site, but they never carry the address of the page you are on.
- No cookies, no profile. AdEngine sets no cookies, gives you no ID and does not track you from site to site.
- How your IP address is used. adengine.us looks up the approximate city for your IP address in a location database kept on its own server (nothing is sent to anyone else), so that ads meant for one area are shown only there. It also uses the address to count each ad view or click only once and to leave out robots and WeldonPC’s own office traffic. The address is not stored with the counts; the temporary entries made from it expire within six hours and are cleared from the server within two days.
- What is kept. Daily totals only: page views for this site, and views and clicks for each ad. The adengine.us web server also keeps a standard access log (IP address, time, address requested, referring site, browser) for security; it is deleted on a rolling schedule.
- Clicking an ad passes through adengine.us, which counts the click, and then opens the advertiser’s site, which has its own privacy policy.
- Nothing about you is sold or shared.
